Channel One

...e concerned about the sexual innuendoes that some of the Pepsi or other various commercials place in font of almost 1/2 of our school districts population. If I were a parent I doubt that I would complain about this silly little thing considering that the commercials on regular networks are worse that what they show on Channel One. After debating this at the meeting for a while I believe someone brought up the point that if they stopped showing the news service that all of the TV?s would have to be sent back. To that most everyone responded that should keep the news service because, well the district couldn?t afford to loose all those TV?s. I didn?t understand why, because honestly the district would not be out that much. The TV?s are worthless. They are extremely old and the picture quality on a lot of them is worthless. Figuring that our district can waste money on a network for the computers that is also worthless I think that they could afford to get us decent TV?s that we could watch CNN or Fox news on. Those would be much more up to date and probably educate us rather than bore us. Not only are we forced to sit and watch the TV?s but we also have to give up 15 minutes of our school day to the stupid TV. Many kids along with me share my view this time as a time to work on the current classes homework or catch a quick talk time. Lunch at Kennedy is extremely rushed and not everyone always gets foo...
