...of life can be quite frustrating sometimes. But you do not need to call AAA, or even try to hike your skirt (or pant leg) to flag down someone for help. With the proper instructions, anyone can change a tire – even you! The most important step is to always carry a “first aid” in your car. No, this is not the typical white box filled with burn creams and bandages (although this might still be a good idea to have). The first aid I write of are a few basic tools you should store in your car trunk. These items include a jack, tire iron, and (naturally) a spare tire. Using the jack, begin raising the car until the tire is at a height where it will be easy to remove. Next, you must use your tire iron to unscrew the tire’s lug nuts.
