...med me of a job opening that he had learned about through his friend, and seeing that I was home for the summer that I could use the extra cash and he was not joking. I had the feeling that I was getting older and depending entirely on my parents for financial support. I had been on my own for a whole school year and helping myself would make me feel a little more independent. So, I jumped at the opportunity and I called the number to the office of the job that held the position. I scheduled an interview on the Monday of the following week. I think that was the longest week of my life or so it seemed. I would be making my own money, I would not have to ask “mom I need money for this or that” I would be able to do it on my own or at least most of it. Heavier on my mind was the fact that I would have a load of responsibilities, beside those that I already have to myself as well as those at home. People would be depending on me to make a work day run smoothly. Monday morning came as if the week before did not exist and I had a feeling that I was unprepared. It seemed as if everything was going so fast the hours were flying by, and my interview was at one in the afternoon. I had to find the appropriate clothes and shoes to wear because I had to be presentable. It was seven-thirty in the morning and I had to start getting ready. I could not clear my mind for the rest of the day I could not wait till the interview was over. Before I knew it I was ready and still waiting to go to the interview, I was so anxious that it was impossible to be patient. I was dress casual; I had on shoes some slacks and a button down short sleeve shirt. I did not want to over dress. Slowly but surely the time came for me to leave my house and get on the train. I was early to the interview so I had to wait about twenty minutes. My time was spent reading magazines and trying to clear my mind. I was called to the office of the person giving the interview. Mr. Sebro was an average height man, stocky and very polite. He was very polite offered m...
