Brutus was trying to be a true hero, the other conspirators were just being killers and murderers. Another important decision made was by Brutus. He decided not to kill Antony when he had the chance to. Brutus also allowed Antony to speak at the funeral and carry the body out. The outcome of this was that Antony incited the crowd and turned them against all the conspirators. He incited them by showing them Caesars wounds and pointing each one out and showing the crowd Caesars will to them. Another decision made by Brutus was leaving Antony alone to speak at the funeral, this made it easier for him to incite the crowd. Brutus also decided to attack first at phillipi, and march there. He did this even after seeing all the warning signs of defeat. He saw crows and ravens, which are symbols of death.
