A major belief of many people is that the corporate and not the government run the United States. The corporate world thrives on money, since they are made of corporations. Corporations need money to exist they live on capitalism since that is the basis for most business. That is the problem with most other systems such a communism, in communism monopolies could never exist considering you could never make more money then anyone else since all the jobs would cost the same amount of money. Or in an Anarchist government since there would be nothing to run. America is what I think Adam smith always wanted, it is a capitalist democratic republic. Although the categories you picked were rather interesting a very good ideas, I felt it would be more pertinent if I wrote on the lack of change from Adam smith to George Bush.
