In reading this article I found myself agreeing and disagreeing with what was going on in this article. I bet like many others reading this that they agree that the boy should be punished for stealing, if you do something that you know is wrong 2 you should be punished for your actions. I think that buy punishing him is the right thing to do, but giving him a prison sentence for stealing a candy bar now that’s going over board. It’s one thing to give a prison sentence for stealing a car or braking into a house but for a candy bar I don’t think that they should have wasted their time with a case like this. When I read this article I could believe what I was reading and that a judge would do such a thing. I never thought that stealing a candy bar would get you a prison cell, if this is the law there should be so many kids in prison right now because I know that there are a lot of kids out there that have stolen a candy bar. With the time and money that they spent on this case the could of used it on something much more important...
