California is better then Tennssee (debate)
...ng conditions there are better in California. Cali personal income is ranked highest out of all the fifty states. Tenn is ranked #20! Wouldn’t you rather live somewhere with a high income? Now, I know what you may be thinking….well, of course they make more, and their cost of living is outrageous. True, cali residents do have a higher cost of living….BUT, the things which their money is being used for, is evidently more beneficial to the state’s public. For example, higher living costs are often a cause of a booming industrial economy. According to CQs State Fact Finder 2000, states such as Tenn have a more depressed community, which causes tenn to be considered a “slow-growth” state. Now just think, you have Dollywood in Tenn, or you have Hollywood! You can ride in a tram down Dollywood blvd…or you can cruise around on a tour of HOLLYWOOD blvd! Hmm…. I think Grauman’s Chinese Theater beast out Dolly’s Smokey Mountain theater. Okay, now wouldn’t it be nice to live somewhere that if you weren’t a white- mid-upper class individual, you would still be in a majority? Statistics show that California has a more diverse population than Tenn, (more research will be needed to continue this area). Through reference books, I am going to also include statically why a bigger metropolitan area is also better for young people looking for that right person.
