Bullying is assault
... Even some mangers bosses and co-workers are also bullies but this is often ignored and just put down to being a hard boss. Some workers dread going to work and believe that they are worthless and are no good at their jobs this due to low self-esteem through being bullied. Some people are often bullied through out their school and working lives and are to scared to tell any one about there problems and they often continue to become depressed which sometime leads to suicide. “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names well never hurt me.” This is a well-known saying often used to say that verbal abuse is ok and doesn’t hurt. Whoever said it really had it wrong, didn’t they? We all know how someone’s casually said mean words can cut like a knife. They may only joking and they might not mean what they say, but that doesn’t take the sting factor away. The problem is we ALL use words we shouldn’t. When we want to get our point across, we often-just use the strongest word that comes to mind, even if it doesn’t reflect the situation. Physical bulling is defined as being punched, tripped, kicked, having belongings stolen or ruined. Imagine waking up everyday in terror, wondering what your fate today would be? Whether you would be stab with pencils, kicked, punched or worse. The effects are normally very brutal on the victim. The victim may become very depressed and lonely. Which may lead to suicide or they become bullies themselves. Bullies also may become depressed and think that the only way out is to continue to be a bully and May assault hurt their family members. Many people are socially bullied, by the people they call “friends”, by being left out, ignored and even rumours spread about them. Many “friends” do this Un-concisely and others do it knowledgeably There are many ways to help the bulling to stop, such as speaking to your school guidance counsellor, a teacher, a parent or a friend, if bullying gets out of hand you may need to discuss putting a restraining orde...
