To now, Serb forces continually besiege the city of Gorazde. During these 2 weeks of fighting, 103 people were killed and 403 wounded, and NATO decides to stop these numbers from increasing in every way they can. ============================================================ When I finished this article, I can’t help thinking that wars and casualties are happening every single day. Is it really that important to take over a city? Is it that important to announce to the world that one’s country is the best? Is it really necessary to have all the power in the world? Since my chosen article is not an editorial, I can only comment or analyse the facts in the article. When Bill Clinton said that the bombing was only to bring the Serbs back to the negotiation table, I thought, “What a load of nonsense!” I think Clinton should’ve thought about the bombing before he made the decision to destroy the Serb targets. He should realize what is happening and investigate if it really necessary to bomb parts of Sarajevo. I personally thought I would be more efficient if Clinton just called to the Serbs for negotiation, or maybe the NATO could handle that. The commander of the Herzegovina Corps is crazy! Why would the North American TREATY Organization want to make open aggression against the Serbs anyway? That defeats the whole purpose of the organization!
