He wanted to shove the issue into congress’ face. Malcolm demanded to receive black equality. As he demanded equality, he promoted a black revolution in response to the poor treatment they have been receiving. This instigated many black revolutions. One of these revolutions was the Black Panther Party. “We have two evils to fight, capitalism and racism. We must destroy racism and capitalism,” Heuy P. Newton said this quote as he established the Black Panther Party. He along with Bobby Seale founded it for a couple reasons. They wanted to change the way blacks were being treated in America. The Black Panthers went by the teachings of Malcolm X. The Panthers armed black citizens to protect them from the harassments of the police and the rest of the armed forces. The police would treat them poorly and kick them around. Arming the black citizens would resolve this dilemma, or as they thought. The second reason Newton and Seale established the Black Panther Party was to get the economical equality that blacks didn’t have at the time. There was poor schooling for black children, and most of all, not too many shelters accepted blacks. Blacks were forced into tight living corridors, infested with diseases and filth. The Black Panthers wanted their freedom, they wanted education, and they wanted what any human being should deserve no matter the race or color. The Panthers were willing to go to any level to get their demands of justice, even if it meant civil disobedience.
