Being On Top Of the World
...ay models. A tall person may not realize it but they are one of the very few who can see the whole student body in one hallway. Hallways are crowded with all sorts of different people, but the tall kids stand out like a sore thumb. The vertically inclined may not realize it but a lot of the time all eyes are on them during a regular school day. We can be a big influence to others by our actions. Most tall women are automatically treated with respect. People assume they are confident, intelligent and capable of doing things for themselves. The one thing that I am able to do because I am tall is lending a helping hand to others. Whether it is helping an elderly woman at the supermarket with something on the top shelf my day is never complete until I have given aid to another who is vertically challenged.
