...c artworks. All of which were very impressive. All of the art was judged. Christina Cute who attends Grand Forks Central High School received third place. Her artwork was a serigraph titled “Trouble Makers”; it was red, white, yellow, and blue. It consisted of three dogs sitting by the legs of three women wearing high heals. Kathryn Anderson from Stephen-Argyle Central High School received second place for her artwork titled “Chronic Feelings.” It was a mixed media drawing of a woman who had her eyes closed and there was a dark red spot on her chest, which had her hand covering part of it. First place went to Erin Hansen who attends Velva High School. She used pastel, pencil, and colored pencil to create “Nonconformist.” Her artwork is of a woman (created with pencil) with three apples separated from the woman. I personally liked the one titled “The Secret” and “Three Dog Night.” “The Secret” was of a little girl telling something to an older woman, the background was green leaves with some pink and read flowers, which I believe are roses.
