Are God and Religion somehow essential to morality? Can we have adequate morality without?
...d? Many of them do not know God as we do, but many have a well established morality system that many would consider superior to ours. With Confucians, family first. I believe that there are a set of universally binding truths in morality. If there was no God, where would these truths have come from? With no religion, how would these truths come to the light? With these statements in mind, I must change my answer to Yes, God and religion are necessary. Without God, where would the set of universal morals come from? Where would the world come from?
