Second, the argument never provides information about the group of the clients who are the subjects of the research. If 100 subject companies were studied in this research and possibly if 90% of the subject companies in the research have experienced incidents of employee theft over the past six years, the solution to employee theft drawn from the security practices of only ten companies (10%) is not compelling and cannot be regarded as an accurate conclusion for the entire group.
