Anti-Semistim, today?

...rrifying crimes of this common era has a serious problem, and this simply illustrates the anti-Semitic view that is still very widespread. In Chapter five Melosz makes clear the state which the Jews are in, “At the bottom stand the weak and clumsy, who daily tumble lower as their undernourished organisms fail to bear up under the work. In the end they die, either in the gas chamber or from an injection of phenol. Obviously this hierarchy does not include the masses of people killed immediately upon arrival, i.e. the Jews, except for those who were single and especially fit for work” (115). This quote speaks for itself. The Jews were not even given a chance to survive the Nazi domination because the hateful sentiment that was felt for all Jews. The Nazi’s had so much anger built up inside, and decided to take in out on a people that were defenseless. This type of hate towards the Jews did not just start over night. Even before the Holocaust occurred, there was already a hateful feeling that many people shared towards the Jews because they were very successful in their businesses. It is very important that this negative sentiment, that is often directed towards the Jews, is put to an end forever. There continues to be many powerful nations and leaders that still resent the Jews, and if one of these leaders rises to great power, then there could be another Holocaust that wipes out the Jews for good. Recent findings from the Anti-Defamation League proves that over the past ten years anti-Semitism has grown in the U.S. There findings showed that 17% of Americans held “Hardcore” believes towards the Jews. The national poll was conducted on 1000 Americans from April 26 through May 6, 2002, and the poll found that 35 million Americans (17%) held unquestionable anti-Semitic views. This not a good sign because ten years ago this number was only at 12% because this means that anti-Semitism, which was declining ten years ago, is not on its way back up. The growth in anti-Semitism can be directly correlated with the hate that is growing towards Israel through out the world and the United States. More and more Americans are feeling more sympathy for Palestine rather than Israel. This does not mean that the people that support Palestine absolutely dislike Israel, but in general this demonstrates the fact that Israel and Jews are losing support. Many believe that Jews today are more vulnerable to anti-Semitism than any time since World War II. The most alarming anti-Semistism today comes from Muslim anti-Semitism which is based in the Middle East. Today Muslim anti-Semitism can be found all over the place, all one has to do is click on an article and there will be anti-Semistism all over. In the years following WWII its was hard to find anti-Semitism in the media because it was kept secret, but today with the widespread communications it only takes a few seconds and anti-Semitic messages can be sent all throughout the world. This is one of the reasons why the denial of the Holocaust has become such an accepted issue. In many Islamic countries the denial of the Holocaust is not a controversial issued, but it is a disgustingly accepted as truth. The denial of the Holocaust at least took forty years to develop, but due to communications the fabricated idea that the Jews are completely responsible for 9/11 is also accepted as fact in many countries. One of the reasons that anti-Semitism has grown so much in Islamic countries is because all the anti-Semitic attention was given to West, and Muslim anti-Semitism was not taken seriously at all. It is evident that anti-Semitism is huge today because all one has to do is turn on the news and they will hear of suicide bombings in Israel, which are a common occurrence. The Muslims have grown more violent towards Jews more than ever before, and this violent anti-Semitism is have a negative affect on the United States. Many Americans, especially in the media, have become disillusioned because it is being report that Jews themselves are the cause of violence. These bigots are trying to say that the Jews are responsible for all the suicide bombs and other forms of anti-Semitism. This is very scary because this is the same ideology that Hitler had. He believed that the Jews were responsible for anything that was wrong in the world, so the decimation of the Jews was brought on upon themselves. Many people in the media expect Israel to sit back and let there nation be destroyed by all the surrounding Islamic countries. This just is not reasonable, the Jews are...
