...ospitalized. Most of the time Anorexia starts when puberty starts. Nine out of ten cases are female and 1 out of 100 women are anorexic. Anorexia is usually linked form Bulimia that is another eating disorder where you purge after you eat. If this behavior continues(purging) the lining of the esophagus can over time disappear. When you binge it is usually after you eat a meal you force yourself to vomit the food you have just eaten. A lot of Models you see on television are Anorexic that is why they appear to be so skinny. Most girls that want to be models look at these girls on television that are so skinny then they look at themselves and think, if I want to be a model I need to be that skinny. So therefore they stop eating like normal because they become obsessed with their body weight. When you become Anorexic for a long period of time your body weight goes down 15% or even more for those who chose to continue bingeing. Anorexia is also very deadly. For someone who chooses not to get help it could cause them to die. Also someone who does choose to get help also has a chance of dying depending on how much weight they have lost, or they can die from withdrawal ...
