Animals are prescious
...eing always treated as they should. Do you think it is right for lions to jump through hoops of fire? I sure don't. Would you like to be put into a cage and go around the country performing shows for people to laugh at you?...... I didn't think so. Well, perhaps these animals all feel the same way; they don't enjoy it. Conditions in some zoos are improving. Efforts are made to give animals more space to move around. But not enough space is given and not enough effort is put forth. Just think of the whales kept in small pools in these zoos, if they were in the ocean they would have so much more room to live and swim . Have you ever been to a zoo and seen a lion lying down inside the fence? Well the lions are lying down because there isn't enough room for them to run. Lions need big open areas where they can run and run and run! Or have you ever seen polar bears in the hot summer sun? Polar bears shouldn't be in the heat they are adapted to survive in very, very cold weather. Today most house animals are being treated fairly but there are still those animals who aren't being treated right. Most people give their dog or cat everything they need including water, food, and exercise.
