...omeone takes the fun away at parties or tells the people to turn the music down! I don't know how you'd react but I would be very mad. From this point of view I understand the animals' Rebellion! Another example of realistic situations would be after the Rebellion. The next morning, as the animals ran out of the barn and looked if the land they had conquered was still there… It reminded me of the children on Christmas morning! When the children, who asked Santa Claus for gifts, run to the Christmas tree on that magical day. Somehow I felt as if the animals, big or small, discovered the true meaning of hope and that it was still possible for them! On the other side, though, the author didn't only illustrate the situations, he also described the characters. I think that, in general, Orwell described every possible personality you could find in a debate. First, there were The Pigs. He illustrated them as true leaders and believers in the Rebellion. Second there were the two cart-horses, Boxer and Clover, who represent the "Followers". They'll believe anything you say, if you were an animal! In this case in particular, they'll believe The Pigs! Therefore, they are for the Rebellion! After that, there was Moses, the black crow. In reason of liking Mr. Jones, he is against the Rebellion. He even tries to turn the cart-horses against The Pigs.
