Lastly, you should ask yourself, “Does it make sense?” Your thesis should have thought put in behind it, and not just be off the top of your head. You want to sound intelligent and comprehensive to your audience. The body paragraphs of your essay will be by far the most important parts of the essay. These paragraphs will take up most of your essay and will give most of the information you have prepared. Preparation in what you are going to write in each of the body paragraphs will be needed. This will help you to have enough to write about and also know what you are writing about. Each body paragraph should have a topic from your thesis and be well developed. You want the information in each body paragraph to link to the thesis statement. Not only should you state facts but also state a few of your opinions as well. This will help you to develop it into a well thought out and interesting essay, instead of a boring essay composed mainly of facts. The topic of each paragraph will depend on what type of essay you are writing whether it is: persuasive, argumentative, or an analysis essay.
