Air Force Museum
...at I had a strong interest in both topics and still deciding which one would me more beneficial later on in the future. This internship would probably help in making a definite decision about what I might want to do in the future. Offering numerous choices, this internship will not only help me make a decision, but also help me academically. It was a incredibly effortless when it came to deciding what kind of an internship I preferred. My first choice on the areas I want to work on during the internship was Earth and Planetary sciences. One of the reasons that this was my first choice was because I submitted a research project to NASA. The research project described how we could transport life on Earth to Mars (for example: what part of Mars would be the life form be transported to, what would the life form be, in my case, it was green algae, etc.). Since my major is Biology, it would be better to cling to something biology-related. My second choice was Design because it sounded very interesting and I love the exhibits that the Air and Space Museum has designed for the public. I would love to be a part of creating the extravagant exhibits featured in the museum. Last but not the least, I have a particular interest in airplanes which ended up effecting my third choice. My third choice was Aviation History. Research on Aviation would be very educational and an enlightening experience. No matter which one I get to work on this summer, I’m sure that I would enjoy it.
