Advantages / Disadvantages of working while in college
...n in class will be greatly increased because of the experiences you’ve had on the job. You can share your experiences and provide your input helping everyone involved in the class. Techniques and training that you acquire in class can be practiced in the work environment, which will add to your overall learning experience. With this practice you can find out what works for you and build your confidence in your learning. If you encounter something in your learning that doesn’t seem to work in the workplace you can discuss it with the teacher and the rest of the class to see if you need help understanding. Your learning in class and at work can positively affect yourself and everyone around you, including fellow classmates and co-workers. Classmates can learn from each other’s experiences and share tactics. This sharing makes for a better learning environment and helps towards your overall learning experience. And co-workers will be very supportive knowing you are furthering your education for the good of not only yourself but the company as well. Lastly an advantage of working while attending college is that having a job is what pays the bills for your schooling. Financial reasons are why many people choose not to attend college, which can be a great loss to that person.
