abortion
...ve rape victims should be able to have an abortion because they know that if they were to keep the child, they would cringe when she thought about the childfs father. The child will be a painful reminder to the rape victim. She did not choose to take the responsibility of a child and therefore should not have to pay the consequences. A woman who cannot love her child has no right to have a baby in the first place. Secondly, the problem of me preferring the abortion as legal thing is the teenage pregnancy. If the teenage girl got pregnant and was forced to keep the child, I believe she would live in poverty the rest of the lives and others would look down on her. It would be extremely difficult for a teenager to finish high school, much less go onto college, just for having sex one time! Teens who are faced with the cruel reality of raising children are usually not prepared to handle the responsibility and a lot of teens try to run away from the problem. They then reject their children and neglect and abuse. I can imagine the children from homes run by teenage parents have to face lots of cruel in life since the depression and mental problems, the lack of ideal family figures, and the high rate of poverty often connected to children in homes run by teenage. Many children also suffer from various social difficulties and self-esteem problems that come along with living in a teenage-parent. The pressure that children raised by teenage parents go through is tremendous. Maybe there is one option for women who are not able to take care of their baby and to prevent from neglect and the poor; the adoption. Yet she will have to carry the baby for nine months and then give it up. Not all women are able to do this physically and mentally. After the pregnancy she will have to hope that their baby will find a good and loving home. And this is not always the case. The child will possibly have to suffer from living in orphanages waiting to get adopted. Adoption cannot always be seen as a good solution to unwanted children. These are the reasons why I prefer to keep abortion as legal. Mostly, the unwanted child suffers from abuse, neglect, and unloved and poor atmosphere of the parents. Why should we make innocent, young children suffer with being beaten, or unloved when these women could simply have an abortion? Instead of worrying about abortion, it is critical that we worry about children already alive who are being tortured by abusive parents and who are l...
