What is most horrifying is that at 10 weeks the fetus is an identifiable human form with a beating heart and brain waves. This fetus is capable of movement and possesses sensation and feeling. At 12 weeks, the unborn baby sleeps, wakes, and can make a fist. From 12 to 20 weeks of pregnancy the D&E method is used. During this procedure, the spine must be snapped and the skull crushed in order for them to be suctioned from the womb. According to the Pro-life America Website, a procedure known as “Saline amniocentesis” can be used after 16 weeks. A concentrated salt solution is injected with a needle into the amniotic fluid. The baby breathes and swallows it and dies over an hour later of acute salt poisoning. The mother then delivers a dead, burned baby. #1.
