Abortio: pro-life

...e could only “prescribe abortion”. Since then there have been many court cases that were based on the Roe v. Wade court decision. Also every year on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade court decision there is a March For Life in Washington D.C. In 1996 President Clinton vetoes the Partial Birth Abortion Ban. Partial birth abortion has to be the cruelest form of abortion. A partial birth abortion can only be preformed in the third trimmest of pregnancy. In a partial birth abortion forceps are entered up the birth canal, pulling the baby’s leg and pulling the baby out of the birth canal, all but the head. The a sharp object is inserted into the baby’s head, leaving a hole, then a suction tube is inserted into the hole and the baby’s brains are sucked out through the tube, causing the baby to die. Today the partial birth abortion is still legal. I do not see how a woman’s right to privacy can be used to argue against the baby’s right to live. Yes, woman has a right to her privacy, just like everyone else but when did having an abortion become a privacy issues. Having any other medical procedure done no one would argue that their right to privacy is being violated. The only reason that women are arguing that their right to privacy is being violated is because they know that the procedure that they are having done is wrong. Every human being has the right to live no matter what. No matter who it might be an inconvenience to, the baby has a right to live. Just because the woman may not want the baby, there is someone out there who wants that baby. We do not have the right to take away a baby’s life. God gives the gift of life to us and we do not have the right to take it away. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” – Jeremiah 1:5. Isn’t it amazing that God knew us even before we were born? “… and he will be filled will the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.” How can the Holy Spirit fill something that isn’t alive? The Bible even proves that there is life in the womb when is says John the Baptist leapt for joy in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary came to visit. Something cannot move unless it is alive! There is argument that it is a woman’s body and a woman can do whatever she wants with her body. This is true but she doe not have the right to kill another human being. The baby is not part of her boy it is a separate being with its own unique DNA code. The women that have an abortion just for the plain fact of they can’t handle a baby are the most selfish people in the world. They should of thought of that before they had unprotected sex and got pregnant. Just because the woman doesn’t want the baby doesn’t mean that there isn’t some loving family out there that want that baby. There are more people out there waiting to adopt a child than there are children to be adopted. A baby is not an object that you can dispose of when you don’t want it. There is the thinking that when some people find out that their child might have some sort of terminal illness that the baby should be aborted. The child still has a good chance to have ...
