But the most important compairson is the depth in the two teams bullpens. The A's have a very diverse and hard throwing bullpen, that compliments their starting rotation very nicely.And the Giants have a very expirenced hard throwin closer followed by several right and left handed set up men.. While both teams come in with new coaches and good bulpens, the key to the series still lays in their differences. The differences between these two teams are very extensive but should give a better idea of which team is the best in the bay. The largest noticeable difference is the starting pitchers. The Oakland A's have three young aces who have each won 20 games in one season over the past three years. The A's also have last years American League Cy Young Award winner in Barry Zito. The Giants on the other hand didnt have a starter last year that won over 15 games; and in the offseason they traded away Russ Ortiz and Livan Hernandez, who were two of their top starters in years past.
