a great restaurant

...hem. The table itself was very long. A second type of table that caught my eye was from Italy, I believe. On the legs of the table were paint sculptures with a lot of detail. On top of the table, were engravings that were went along with the artwork on the legs. While the atmosphere is great, the beer is even better. Brewzzis is a micro-brew with several different types of beer to choose from. The beer that I ordered was a light beer. The taste of it was incredible; it was not bitter at all. It had the taste of all the wheat and grains that where brewed in it. My father ordered a darker beer. When I tasted his, it was awesome. It was thick like a glass of chocolate milk. It has a very rich taste, almost as strong as a freshly brewed cup of coffee. My mother not being a beer drinker, ordered a glass of the red wine, which is also made in this restaurant. This was a very smooth type of wine going down. It was full of fruit flavors, and it was very appetite enhancing. After sitting at the bar and getting a nice feeling, it was time for us to start our dinner. To start of, we were given a complimentary breadbasket. This basket was filled with sourdough bread, onion rolls, marble rye, Italian bread, and French bread. Along with the breads were dipping sauces; a hot cheddar cheese, and spicy olive oil. The appetizer we decided on was thickly sliced potato wedges. When these came out, they were dripping in grease and smelled delicious. The waiter used a pepper mill to give us freshly cracked pepper on top and salt. The potatoes came with a thick warm brown gravy dipping sauce, which add a meaty flavor to it. For our main course, we wanted to stick with homestyle cooking. I ordered the mile high meat loaf sandwich. When this came out, my eyes lit up. There where two slices of two inch meatloaf on top of a thick slice of rye- bread. The two sides that came with this dish were shaved onions and mashed potatoes. When I took a bite into this, I tasted all the herbs and spices that were put into it; such as garlic, pepper, oregano, paprika, basil, and salt.
