A Dream Fulfilled
...ster ride. Awareness of life, achieving goals, and being hopeful are steps in fulfilling dreams. Endless seas of blue surround the tiny airplanes that dare to defy gravity. There is no greater pleasure than letting the mind flow freely with the wind. There are no stoplights in the sky and no rush hour traffic. The sounds of honking horns and words of angry pedestrians are not heard. The only noise is of a roaring engine and the chatter on the radio. With so little distractions, a thousand hours can seem to pass in seconds. Awareness is more abundant in the sky than on the surface. Soaring above the trees is not only peaceful, but safer. A main priority beyond the clouds is to look for other aircraft, not to hurry from one destination to another. There are no passing zones and no speed limits. The air is not contaminated with the smell of exhaust fumes or pollution. There are only wide open spaces and the common sense of the pilot. If the roads could be as secure as the airways, the world could be a safer place.
