It seems to me that he was resigned to the things that happened to him but he never stopped dreaming about a better future. Sometimes we blame others because of the bad things that happen in our lives. Nello always understood his situation and did not blame anyone for that. He just lived his life in an easy and happy way. While reading, I felt sad and angry, but sincerely, throughout the pages I kept hopping that something good was going to happen. Sadness because of their extremely poverty and anger because we are living in a world just as it is described in the story, a place where money and power are the governors.
