A Decision to enter a Ministry or a Religious Order
...gh the people of the ministry truly find answers influenced by God. For one to actually sit down and plan out when they will take the oath and all the other proceedings is really; do I want to stop having sex, not have a family, and live only for God. Once you get past that, it is really just the process. Priests and other religious occupations can be beneficial but not to a degree that would attract anyone unless they were initially homeless. The main cause of those who join a religious order is to just people simply “see the light”. The aftermath of becoming part of a ministry is the usual thought of making the right decision. IT really is common sense that with every decision made by a person that there may be a thought of regret for this initial choice made, but we are all human. Another effect of one making that decision might be a good one. One might be able to move up in rank like the military and could make a significant difference in society. Religions were created to appreciate the creator for the creations it produces, so when you are well off in life, to show you appreciation for all that you have. You are supposed to help another in their time of need. Helping others is what the ministry should be about. They feed the poor and provide community service. These services attract a lot of people, they like what the ministry is about, and therefore become a part of it. One other possible effect of accepting the call to the ministry is becoming a homosexual. Monks and priests spend an ample amount of time with other men praying.
