SENIOR CITIZENS: Senior citizens (age 65 and older) may take up to six hours on a space available basis and pay only the building use fee, the general services fee, and the health services fee (if taking three or more hours). Senior students residing outside of Howard County will also pay out-of-district fees. Senior students are required to show proof of age. OUT-OF-DISTRICT FEE: Students who are Texas residents but who live outside Howard County will be required to pay an out-of-district fee of $10 plus $9 per semester hour. In order to establish in-district residency, a student must have been a resident of Texas for twelve consecutive months immediately prior to enrollment, including six months as a resident in Howard County. Moving into the Howard County Junior College District for the specific purpose of enrolling in Howard College does not establish legal residence in the district. BUILDING USE SERVICES FEE: Students are required to pay a fixed fee for building use services fee of $25 per semester at all sites except the San Angelo campus. Students registered at the San Angelo campus are required to pay a $105 building use services fee.
