According to this document, women in Afghanistan were prohibited to attend hospitals that were meant for men. The hopitals would rather allow a female to die than to be in the same hospital as men. This document also shows that women had to have a curfew. In this case, a women and child had to hide in a bombed building because they did not want to face the consequenses of being caught passed curfew.
