GROWING OLD It would seem that age tends to unsettle most people, or at least many which I talk to emit that sense of unsettled, uneasy outlook at aging. ... I tried to reassure her that turning thirty was a milestone in an ever changing and glorious journey to old age. I said: " growing old is an art, and each individual is an artist"; she gruffed a little at the quote. ... My wife says I look like an "old hippy", that makes me feel comfortable. ... If growing old is an art, as I have said - then I hope that I paint a mural which is a reflection of the person I have became through this life, and I hope it is a painting that influences others.
