BUSINESS IN JAPAN
. Mr. Legrand is a French engineer who works for a Japanese company. Mr. Tanaka, his boss, calls him into his office to discuss a project in the Middle East. Mr. Tanaka tells Mr. Legrand that the company is pleased with his work and is offering him a job as chief engineer. The job requires him to leave home for up to three years, but his family will be able to join him as well as receiving personal financial benefits. Mr. Legrand thanks Mr. Tanaka as tells him that he would have to discuss it with his wife.
