GENERATION GAP “You’re grounded for the month because of your behavior!” Parents and teens don’t seem to understand each other. Since the innovation of music, Parents as well as teens are more compliant. No doubt, these issues promoted the generation gap. Furthermore, parents most recent concern focuses on the music teens listen to, which had led many parents to believe it is a bad influence. Parents seeking to address this issue should communicate, form a closer relationship, and seek counseling for their teens. It is contended that parents experience a communication deficit with teens. More over, a study of Dr. Dobson indicates when parents communicate with their teens, then their teens can built more confidents and responsibility, with it teens are more likely to succeed in the future. No doubt, parents tend to lose communication with their teens because they assume that teens are wiser, and therefore, more independent.
