While I agree that scientific development and technological advancement do have helped people to increase their efficiency, which, to some extent, contribute to let people to have more leisure time, I insist that the primary goal of technology should be to make the world a more comfortable place to live in. From the perspective of history of technological advancement from its very beginning, technology does have saved people a lot of time in every aspect, and made people work and live more comfortable. ... In a word, without technological advancement, people can never enjoy so much convenience. ...
