Blood Wedding my Take The play blood wedding is a Greek tragedy. It’s about hate and love. You could even say it’s about the choices people make. The choices of the people in the play ultimately affect the end. In this play there were many conflicts. Leonardo had the most conflicts of all. The major conflicts were between Leonardo and the groom, the wife and Leonardo, and Leonardo and the bride. There were minor conflicts as well these were between Leonardo and the mother in law, Leonardo’s family name and the grooms mother and Leonardo and the servant. They begin the play in the house with the mother talking about knives. It progresses through the engagement and to the wedding. The climax is when the two men meet and kill each other. The plays purpose was to say put down your knives and stop the killing. I believe that overall the actors were good. They dressed for the part and portrayed the age and characters really well. I really loved the mother of the groom, because when she was mad you felt it; when she cried it broke your heart too, the son was believable that he loved his mother.
