The Savagery of Children ‘Why? ... Sure they came from broken homes and lived in a rough neighbourhood, but so do plenty of other children without killing innocent infants. ... These two children were convicted indefinite detention, and have just recently been released, you might ask yourself if indefinite detention was the right punishment for these two boys. ... But the media also has an affect on children, because watching a violent film is one thing, you know it isn’t real, while watching the news is different, because it is real. Most children know what is real and what is not because they are told by their parents, but if they have not had parents who have raised them properly, then they might a problem distinguishing between the two. Most children and can distinguish, otherwise our society wouldn’t look the way it does today, it would be a society of murderers, robbers and rapists, and sure if we look around in our community, they do exist, but they are a minority.
