     I believe that schools, colleges in particular, place too much emphasis on testing. ... Many schools also require that you take the SAT along with the ACT. In the following paragraphs, I’m going to give sufficient evidence that schools place too much emphasis on testing. ... I believe that schools are an agent for change for many reasons. The change agent in this situation is that schools shouldn’t place so much emphasis on testing. If schools didn’t pressure students to do well on tests then students would excel not only in education, but also in society. I believe that education needs to be modified to make schools more effective. ... Each year they help out various high schools, colleges, and businesses with testing (About ACT). The ACT says that the only reason for testing is to help the individual (About ACT). ... ACT is one of the reasons that schools place too much emphasis on testing.
     Next is the fact that college and high school testing don’t get people ready for the real world. ... Schools should prepare kids like me for the future, to become this world’s future leaders of this society. ... I think that testing should be eliminated from all schools and teach the kids about basic society related issues. ... Through testing, schools limit what the student can learn. ...
