REACTION TO HOMELESSNESS
After reading the article review about the “Underground Filmmaker” by Finbarr O’Reilly, I was very interested in seeing the movie, “Dark Days”. The review intrigued me mainly because it showcased a man and his interest in wanting to show the life of his homeless friends, their daily routines and the surroundings they call home, and what most of us are unaware of. It makes me want to see the film because it is a topic that although we may be familiar with, is on our streets, it is something that we cannot really understand, and we cannot know what is actually going on with the homeless, and their lives. I feel that Marc Singer is a loyal friend who wants this issue of homelessness to be addressed and recognized. I didn’t anticipate seeing something outrageously crazy, but I did get to go through the lives of each of Singer’s homeless friends.
