I will explain in this paper Pascal’s Wager and discuss two strong objections against the it. ... I will also give my reasons to why I agree with Pascal in The Wager. Many objections had been held against the theory of Pascal’s Wager. One objection is that the belief we would have in God, through the Wager is mercenary. ... The Wager tells us that God only rewards people that serve Him in ways that he wants them to. ... Another objection against Pascal’s Wager is, it is true that we should believe that there is a God but which God is it. ... Rather the Wager doesn’t say that you should believe in God only to get the better bang for your buck, instead it informs that you should start to practice the ways that the people already serve in God and eventually you will believe. The Wager is the initial spark that should start a making a person believing. ... I agree with the Wager of Pascal since it is a reasonable argument to make someone start believing that God does exist. ... The only way that I would imagine that The Wager would not be a sensible argument is when there is definite proof that God does not exist. ... In the answer to the first objection I said that The Wager isn’t mercenary by saying that you should start practicing the way of believers, to receive the reward, only that you should become into a sincere believer in God.
