Many people believe that providing funding for arts programs is far down on the priority list; moreover, many believe that arts endowment programs should be abolished all together. Arts endowment programs are not-for-profit agencies that provide funding to programs in schools as well as other art education entities. ... The fact is that "Americans value the arts and culture in their lives. All great nations support the arts" (Warren 1). Those who are against arts funding need to realize that art is crucial to live a well-rounded, successful and happy life. Arts endowment programs enable Americans to share their cultures with one another. Furthermore, not-for-profit arts agencies are vital in ensuring the stability and ongoing of arts programs nationwide. Arts endowment programs are a necessary attribute to arts and cultural education and should be widely supported and contributed to by the population.
