Act One-
One evening at the corner of an old road we meet Scullery the narrator of the play who guides us down the road. ... We are firstly taken into a house and through the living room where we meet Louise, a young girl getting ready for a night out in road whilst arguing with her older brother. ... Louise turns up at Carol’s house and they leave together, passing Scullery on their way down the road. ... The professor reappears and tells us his story of his life on road. Chantal wanders down the road and stops to talk to Scullery. ... Back to the road and we see Scullery entering into what he calls a derelict house. ... A school girl, Clare and Molly, who’s singing old folk songs to the men she sees on her way, passes Scullery and Blowpipe on their way down the road. ... Curt, a young lad staggers down the road obviously after a heavy nights drinking. ... Back on the road Jerry, stumbles and attempts to dance whilst Scullery appears eating his final chip. ...
