	The novel begins when the main character Adam Scott, an unemployed man within his late twenties, inherits a decent sum of money after his fathers death and along with it an envelope that contains something that changes his life immediately. The envelope held a document that Adam Scotts father wrote containing the reasoning behind his mysterious retirement from the military despite being an acclaimed war hero from World War 2. Adam sets out to clear his fathers name which lands him in Geneva as he follows the clues of the letter. Approximate Word count = 364 Approximate Pages = 1.5 (250 words per page double spaced)
