Patriarchy among the stories in our second section of authors, has dealt with aspects of man’s greed, self inflicted short-comings, and perhaps the changing of times as we know it. The stories reviewed by the class have focused on the main theme of patriarchy experienced by men. When analyzing the collection of novels read in class, each and every story seemed to offer a radical reappraisal of patriarchy as a form of social organization.
