Philosophy of Education
A philosophy of education is a necessity for an educator. Without a philosophy of education, you are like a car without a steering wheel. A quotation which I base my philosophy upon is “Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire. ... In our increasingly specialized society an education is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity. Each and every person is entitled to achieve skill levels that open doors to the opportunity an education offers.
