In Montaigne’s essay he says “a strong imagination creates the event” and according to the American Heritage college dictionary imagination is defined as the formation of a mental image of something that is neither perceived as real or present to the senses. Imagination is the act of imagining and God created us in his image using his imagination. ... If we can live our lives for Christ then this image can be achieved. ... The substance or evidence is not just some wishful thinking, but it’s what you can see by the spirit of God, which is the image of the very thing that you believe God for” (Danford). ... “The images and thoughts of the past that have been haunting us and trying to dictate our future are coming down and new image of our true origin and destiny in God are rising up and seating us in a new place of victory! ... Like Montaigne, I believe that if we imagine something long enough then we can start living in that image and achieve anything.
