Genetically Modified Food
Generally speaking, genetically modified food is any food component, crop or animal product which has been genetically altered during the process of output, according to Dennis Avery, Director of the Hudson Institute¡¦s Center for Global Food Issues. Today lots of people still puzzle about GM food despite that the market has been flooded with it. A survey about GM food says that more than 50 percent people do not know GM food very clearly while 40 percent worry that it will hurt human health. According to many studies and researches, we can discard our prejudice and accept GM food slowly because it is beneficial to farmers, consumers, and the environment in many ways.
