‘To Autumn’ is an ode created by the Romantic poet John Keats. ... The poem ‘To Autumn’ has all these elements and I personally think that this poem is a very deep poem full with hidden meanings that if an interpreter tries to find out the meaning without reading it over and over again and trying to ‘digest’ each words carefully, he may interpret the poem wrongly. At first I thought that this poem is talking about the season of autumn itself, involving life and death due to my ‘ethusiasticness’.
In ‘To Autumn’s first stanza the core subject or the main thing which is being pointed out is the season of autumn itself.
