... But today it is not easy to get an education especially in college. William Zinsser in his essay “College Pressures” discusses four pressures that affect students in both private and public colleges. As a college student, I believe some of these pressures are associated with making students succeed. ... As a college student, I agree with the author’s argument that students worry too much about their grades. ... As Zinsser says, “Today it is not unusual for a student, even if he works part time at college and full time during the summer, to accrue $5,000 in loans after four years-loans that he must start to repay within one year after graduation”(141). ... As we all know, as college students we have to pay for tuition, registration fees and transcript fees. ... This depresses the author because he knows they are happy out side of the college.
