HI Everyone, The PTSA meeting last Tuesday featured a very special speaker, Linda Sivertsen, who is a local resident, parent, and friend of a PTSA member as well as a nationally recognized and published writer and editor of BALANCE magazine. She spoke about what makes a successful person and how to relate to our teenagers in such a way that we encourage their success. Check out her website at livescharmed.com. We thank you for speaking to us, Linda, it was inspirational and informative. Mr. Flecha explained more about the mercury incident at the school. Since a number of people had commented that they didn't see what all the drama was about, he explained that ingesting mercury can be lethal and that the vial that had been brought onto campus contained one pound of mercury!
